Lingusamy's Vettai, which has Madhavan, Arya, Amala Paul and Sameera Reddy in the lead roles, will be now dubbed and released in Hindi. Considering Madhavan's popularity in the North, the producers decided to release this action entertainer in B town too.

Stars thronging to watch Avan Ivan premier show
The much awaited film of 2011 Avan Ivan directed by National Award Winner Bala, produced by AGS Entertainment starring Arya & Vishal was released on Friday with huge fanfare. The film had a grand premiere at AGS Cinemas, Villivakkam which was completely having the flavor of avan ivan. A galaxy of stars had arrived for the premiere.

Mani Ratnams much awaited Ponniyin Selvan may be dropped
Here comes breaking news! There is widespread speculation in the industry that Mani Ratnam's much awaited Ponniyin Selvan may be dropped. The reasons are still unknown. After making several films with elements of history or mythology, this time the ace director was planning a full-fledged adaptation of the novel. Vijay, Mahesh Babu and Arya were signed to play the lead roles while Anushka was to be Vijay's love interest and Mahesh Babu's sister.

Vettai to be changes hands
Fresh after the success of Boss Engira Baskaran Arya signed on to do Lingusamy’s Vettai to be produced by Dayanadhi Alagiri’s Cloud Nine Movies. Madhavan has also committed to this project and it is expected to be an entertaining, multi – starrer. Cloud Nine Movies however have dropped Vettai as they have their hands full with ongoing films and will not be able to do justice to this project.

After the lukewarm response to director Mysskin's latest venture Yuddham Sei, Lingusamy and his production house Thirupathi Brothers has decided to back out from their next project Mugamudi. Arya, who was signed to play a lead role in Mugamudi, will now work with Mynaa famed director Prabhu Solomon.

Janani Iyer debuting as heroine in director Bala’s ‘Avan Ivan’
Janani Iyer, who is debuting as heroine in director Bala’s ‘Avan Ivan’ opposite Vishal, is extremely delighted to be part of a ‘Bala’ film. The pretty Janani is also a lucky girl, as she has reportedly been selected from around more than ‘one lakh’ entries received by Bala in response to his advertisement to spot an ‘ideal’ heroine for the film.

Director Vetrimaran is just back from the success of Dhanush starrer Aadukalam and the director is said to be ready with a multi-starrer script. However not many in the Tamil industry are ready to take up such double hero subjects.
