This is not the first time he has done a double role as films like Vel and Perazhagan had him pulling off this gig. What is different though is that in Maatran Suriya will be playing Siamese twins otherwise known as conjoined twins which makes it so much harder.

Ko’s success has made K V Anand more cheerful. Now he is gearing up to go to Nigeria. This trip is to compose music for his next film Maatran which has Surya in the lead role.

KV Anand has come out of ‘Ko’ and is fully concentrating on his next directorial venture ‘Maatran’ which will start rolling in April. The film starring Suriya has all in place to begin the shoot except the heroine.

Bollywood beauties Sonakshi Sinha and Anushka Sharma are said to be in the race, to be featured opposite to Surya Siva Kumar in the movie ‘Maatran’. Director KV Anand, who I busy with his KO presently, will be directing the project. Previously the duo of Surya and KV Anand was seen in AYAN which was in 2009.

Suriya’s next film has been announced 'Maatran Uruvagiran'
Another movie for actor Suriya has been finalized and had been announced. Actor Suriya will be starring in film titled Maatran directed by KV Anand. Currently the actor is working with the movie 7aam Arivu.
