Kamal Haasan’s second innings in Malayalam
Leading Malayalam producer and distributor Gokulam Gopalan of Gokulam Films, which recently purchased the Kerala theatrical rights of Kamal Haasan’s Manmadhan Ambu, is planning to produce a big budget Film with Kamal Haasan in the lead.

Suriya playing guest roles in Bala’s Avan Ivan
Actor Suriya has been fast becoming an expert in playing guest roles in films. More often than not, the actor gets to play himself (actor Suriya) in those movies. In the latest Kamal-Madhavan-Trisha starrer ‘Manmadhan Ambu’ too, Suriya had played himself and is said to be repeating the same role in director Bala’s ‘Avan Ivan’.

Udayanidhi’s failed plan for Manmadhan Ambu
Red Giant Movies’ Udayanidhi Stalin wanted to release Manmadhan Ambu as a trilingual but his plans have gone in vain. Recent reports from Kollywood state that the Telugu rights have been obtained by Lakshmi Ganapathi Films but the producer could not strike a better deal for the Telugu version.
