South Indian actress Trisha Krishnan is very happy with the way her acting career is shaping up down south. Though her debut film in Bollywood did not fare well at the box-office, it has certainly not affected her demand in the Tamil and Telugu film industries. Her upcoming Tamil film is opposite her screen idol Kamal Hassan. She is not only excited about her role that she has portrayed in Manmadhan Ambu (MA) but also about her stage performance with co-star Kamal Hassan during the audio launch of the film.
Referring Kamal Hassan as her guru, Trisha says that it was due to the sincere tutoring efforts of Kamal that she was able to sing and recite so well during the audio launch program of Manmadhan Ambu in Singapore. MA is a romantic comedy where she plays the role of an upcoming actress.
Also in the pipeline for the actress are films like Mangaatha in Tamil, Kushigaa and Savithri in Telugu. Now that Trisha has established quite a name for herself down south, she is choosing her films and advertising campaigns with care. Having begun her career as a model, the actress still endorses several brands such as Fanta, Scooty Pep and Vivel Di Wills.
