Teenage sensation Hansika Motwani, who has made ripples and has become quite a famous personality in Kollywood even before the release of her debut film as heroine in Tamil, is said to be on a fast-track Tamil learning course in order to equip herself in her mission to ‘dethrone’ Tamannaah as the numero uno in Tamil films.
The lovely Hansika, hailing from the Sindh region of Gujarat’s border with Pakistan, has been giving sleepless nights to many established heroines in Kollywood, reports say. She is presently starring as heroine in a couple of major projects: one with Vijay as his second heroine in ‘Velayudham’ and another with ‘Jeyam’ Ravi as his main heroine in ‘Engeyum Kaadhal’, directed by the bearded Prabhudeva.
Quite aware of the ‘fear’ factor she has managed to instill in many heroines’ hearts by her sheer looks, Hansika has decided to learn Tamil as soon as possible and has been on a fast-track Tamil learning course. She is said to be taking tuition from a Tamil pandit at her residence to enable her to speak fluently in Tamil which would endear her more to Tamil audience.
She is learning all the nuances of the Tamil language – the respectable terms, how to address others, how to listen to and understand while others speak – so as to make her feel one among them in Tamil land. Ask her as to what is the urgency in brushing up her Tamil dialect, pat comes the reply: “Heroines like Tamannaah started their upward rise in Kollywood only after they learnt the language. I’m simply following suit!”
You’re most welcome, Hansika!
