‘Kaavalan’ which is an upcoming movie of Ilayapathi Vijay is said to be in a dilemma, about its release date. The director Siddique initially made arrangements to release the movie in theatres on Christmas. Now, after some discussions, the release date was pushed to pongal.

But this seems to be not working in favor of Kaavalan. Kamal Hassan’s ‘Manmadhan Ambu’ is now postponed to dec 23rd, 2011. So, almost all the best screens are booked for the Tamil legend’s movie. In the pongal season, films such as Siruthai, Ilaignan and Aadukalam are noted to hit screens, which makes “Kaavalan’ hard to hit screens. .

In this issue Vijay had a discussion with MA producer Udayanidhi Stalin, to alter his ‘Manmadhan ambu’ release date. Vijay had the discussion on behalf of the ‘Kaavalan’ producer C Romesh babu.

But since, Vijay supports AIDMK, which is an opposition party for Udayanidhi Stalin father; he rejected the proposal of Vijay to alter the release of his ‘Manmadhan Ambu’.

Now, Kaavalan makers are in dilemma, about the release date, as any further delay in releasing the film, may alter the collections and image of Vijay’s ‘Kaavalan’.
