Filmmaker Selvaraghavan and Yuvan Shankar Raja are illustrious for their best works in films Thullavadho Ilamai, Kadhal Kondain, Pudhupettai and Yaaradi Nee Mohini, after which they parted ways due to some difference of opinions. After a long time, the duo is all set to strike with a big show. The film titled Erandam Ulagam will bring them together.
The film has Dhanush in lead role and will go on floors next year. Selva, who had decided to work with G.V. Prakash in this project, has now changed his mind by signing Yuva. However, GV has tweeted saying that the project didn’t work out due to financial and time factors.
Much excited Yuvan has stated that the script of Erandam Ulagam is mind-boggling and that made him irresistible from signing this project. Dhanush on turn has said that the film is not a sequel to Selvaraghavan’s Aayirathil Oruvan, but a heart-touching love story on different dimension.
Selvaraghavan had earlier started shooting for the film Idhu Maalai Nerathu Mayakkam with Dhanush and Andrea Jeremiah in lead roles. But the shooting has been shelved for unknown reasons.
