Tamanna is the leading actress in Kollywood now. This fair heroine made her debut into Kollywood through the Tamil film “Kalloori”. Tamanna started her career as a model and appeared in many famous brands ads including Fair & Lovely. Her charming beauty in films like “Vyabari” fetched her many chances. Tamanna acted in many commercially successful films like “Ayan”, “Padikathavan” and “Paiyya”. Tamanna celebrated her 20th birthday on 21st December.
Tamanna told the year 2010 proved to be very successful for her. This Sindhi angel is very happy about the way her career is taking shape. She has a handful of opportunities in Tollywood as well as Kollywood. Tamanna’s salary has already crossed 1 Crore. But she says she is always ready to compensate on her salary if she likes the role and the script.
Tamanna is starring with Dhanush again in “Venghai” film. The film “Siruthai” in which she co-stars Karthick is to be released for Pongal. Since the earlier film which both of them paired “Paiyya” was a great hit, she looks forward to the release of Siruthai with lot of excitement. She is acting with Telugu Super Star Allu Arjun and the famous actor Nana Patekar in that film. Another film “Production 31” where she co-stars with Naga Chaitanya is also awaited eagerly in the Tollywood industry.
The latest gossip is that Chaitanya and Tamanna are dating. It seems Tamanna is concentrating more on Tollywood now than Kollywood. When asked whether Chaitanya is the reason for this, Tamanna denies any such connections with him. “There were lots of rumors regarding me and Karthi after the “Paiyya” film success. Now it is Chaitanya. I barely know him as a co-worker” said Tamanna. But Tollywood resources say the hero is doting on her crazily and is recommending her to all the producers. Even the director of the film Sukumar is said to have hard time controlling the romance between the two stars. Let us wait and see when she will declare him her younger brother or best friend.
