‘Kaavalan’. The movie promos are out and the posters of the pair are reviewed as one of the best pairs in Kollywood. May be the makeover of Vijay and make up of Asin did the trick.
Karthi + tamannah- if not the real life couple, actor Karthi and tamannah are considered to be a perfect pair on screen. The movie
‘ Siruthai” will again bring the two youngsters together and the audiences poll gives the best points to this pairing.
Worst pairs in Kollywood
Rajnikanth + Aishwarya Rai- ‘Endhiran’ which is also spelt as ‘Enthiran’ is no doubt a super hit film as the collections speak the truth. But the north Indian audiences and also some south Indian audiences hate to see former miss world with the super star. The actress was like a diva and our superstar was looking like an uncle in the film. But still, we tamilains consider the ‘Thalaivar’ as legend and so avoid his age factor for consideration. But frankly speaking the pairing of the film was indeed a stupidity by director Shanker.
Kamal Hassan + Trisha- the first glimpse of Kamal Hassan and Trisha on the posters was a turn off to many. The poster viewing crowds in the main junction considered Kamal Hassan to be Trisha’s uncle and assumed
‘ Manmadhan Ambu’ to be a next
“ Abhiyum Naanum” . It was the director KS Ravi Kumar who promoted the film as a romantic comedy, which puzzled many audiences. Any further comments on the pairing of Kamal Hassan and Trisha will further lead to controversies. So, it is better to hint that, Kamal Hassan please stay away from young girls like Trisha and go for aunties like Kushboo.
Surya + Anushka- the pairing of Surya and Anushka was witnessed in
‘Singam’ the promotional stills presented Anushka looked aged opposite to Surya. Moreover the height factor added more problems to the menace. Anushka looked more like a sister of Surya Sivakumar in the movie. However, the skin show of Anushka made the Tamil tambis happy and the movie “Singam” was a hit.
