The fastest rising music director GV Prakash according to music industry trackers is Pongal 2011's big winner.
His Aadukalam music is topping the charts and the song Yathe Yathe is becoming an anthem!
Take a look at Radio Mirchi (98.3 FM)'s Top 20, week ending January 15 (Pongal Day).
Yathe Yathe song tops the list at number one position, followed by Otha Sollalla at number three.
All the other three releases of Pongal: Kaavalan, Siruthai and Illaignan have music by the veteran Vidyasagar.
In Radio Mirchi's latest countdown Kaavalan song Step Step is at number 10 while Siruthai's Naan Romba Romba is at number 20.
Ilaignan does not feature in the countdown.
It clearly means GV Prakash's music of Aadukalam is a chartbuster. Yathe Yathe is 2011's first chartbuster.
Once Sun TV starts showing the beautifully picturised full length song, its popularity will soar .
