Superstar Rajnikanth’s animation film ‘Sultan: The Warrior’, started more than an year back by his younger daughter Soundarya, still remains incomplete. Soundarya got married last September and the responsibility of completing the unfinished project was handed over to K.S. Ravikumar, who has had a successful association with Rajni in films like ‘Muthu’ and ‘Padaiyappa’.
While the title of the film was changed to ‘Hara’ last month, sources say that another change has been introduced in the title, which now has become ‘Rana’. The film would be part animation and part real-life motion picture. Some sequences have already been shot with Rajni and Vijayalakshmi (of ‘Chennai 600 028’ fame).
The hunt is now on for the spot of another heroine with whom Rajni would be shooting soon to complete the project. While ‘animated’ Rajni would have Vijayalakshmi as his heroine, the search is now on for the heroine to pair up opposite the ‘real’ Rajnikanth in the film. Reports, unconfirmed though, said that Trisha might be considered for this role.
When they heard about this, Rajni’s fans have started SMSing e-mailing their star not to have Trisha as the heroine. They have urged him to consider casting either Bollwood’s Deepika Padukone or Vidya Balan or Aishwarya Rai, whose pairing with Rajni in ‘Enthiran’ was appreciated by one and all. The fans have said that they are ready for Shriya Saran also (who was Rajni’s heroine in ‘Sivaji: The Boss) but have urged Rajni not to cast Trisha.
Wonder what might have been in their minds against Trisha!
