Director Vijay, who has tentatively titled his next Kollywood project Deiva Magan, says that he has completed 60pc of the film, which stars superstar Vikram in the lead role. The director is planning to release the film in April but has left the final decision to the producer Mohan.

The film also stars Anushka, Santhanam and Amala Paul in other important roles. Speaking about the title, Vijay said that Deiva Magan is just one of the probable options but they have not finalized anything yet. As soon as the production of the film is completed, an apt title will be finalized to suit the film.

The director has also rubbished the rumours that his film is based on Hollywood movie I Am Sam. He says that his film is based on the purest form of love of a mother and no expectation rises in this relationship. He adds the story is about the conflict between the brain and heart.

Informing about the progress of the project, Vijay says that they are shooting the background score to help the actors emote perfectly. He has also cleared the air about Anushka's rumoured exit from the film saying that she is a very committed actress and is very much part of the film yet.

Vijay praised actress Amala saying that she plays a character, which is beyond her age but she has performed it very convincingly. However, according to the director, Vikram will steal the maximum limelight because of his performance. He says the actor offers him five options to choose from before capturing a scene. In fact, his look in the film will also attract the viewers.

We hope the film hits theaters on scheduled time as a summer treat to Kollywood viewers.
