Director Gautham Menon breathed a sigh of relief after his psychological thriller Nadunisi Naaygal hit screens last Friday. The movie, which drew mixed opinions, has elevated its creator Gautham Menon to a whole new level. Talking to the media after the release of the movie, Gautham Menon said that Nadunisi Naaygal was an attempt to stretch the boundaries of Tamil cinema.
The director also said that he was trying to experiment with new genres in Tamil Cinema, which had seen dark and disturbing movies rarely. He added that all new attempts would always be received with praises and criticisms and he was readily accepting both. Gautham Menon concluded that his movie would pave the way for a new style in Tamil Cinema and many budding film makers would draw inspiration from Nadunisi Naaygal.
