Rajinikanth’s Rana is finally falling into place. The movie, which was announced in January, will be launched in the AVM Studios on April 20. The movie launch function will start with a formal pooja next Wednesday. The AVM Studios is said to be a lucky place for Rajinikanth, so the makers of the film have opted this place for the muhurat, says a source.
By this month end, the team will fly abroad for a song’s shoot. The major portions of the film will be reportedly shot in foreign countries. However, Deepika Padukone has been roped in to play the lead role. Other details about the cast are yet to be announced.
Rana is directed by KS Ravikumar. The historical movie is jointly produced by Soundarya Rajinikanth and Eros International. Oscar Award winner AR Rahman will score the music for the film and Rathnavelu will handle the camera.
