Dusky beauty Shammu, who gave a power packed performance in Kanchivaram, celebrates her birthday today. The actress is currently busy with Prakashraj's production venture Mayilu. Shammu is all set to make her Malayalam and Telugu debuts soon.
"My role in Mayilu is a beautiful one—it’s a completely deglamourised role of a Madurai-based girl who is assertive and talkative. It’s unfortunate that the movie is yet to see the light of day because even I’m eagerly waiting for its release,” she was quoted as saying.
