A robotic statue of Ilayathalapathy Vijay which can electronically move its hands, legs and eyes to the tunes of Vijay's super hit songs has been installed by his fans in Kerala in Ottapalam near Shoranur.

Vijay, who was in Ottapalam recently for the shooting of his forthcoming Tamil flickKaavalan, saw the statue and was visibly impressed with it and the efforts of his fans in having it installed. Vijay spent around 10 days at the famous Varikasseri Mana in Ottapalam.

This is the first time a dancing statue has been erected for a star in the state. The statue has been attracting the attention of all; the residents of the neighbouring areas and foreigners have been pouring in to Shoranur to see it.
