Currently Priyamani is busy in Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada films.
Why aren’t you seen In Tamil films?
That is what I am asking also. I acted well in the film Paruthiveeran. After this I was also successful in commercial films. In spite of this I am surprised that why I am not getting offers in Tamil. But a day will come when I will be leading actress in Tamil cinema.
You are acting very glamorously in Telugu films?
Who is not acting glamorously? The actresses who call them number one act more glamorously then me. Nobody is asking them this question. You all are asking me only. Glamour is not a sole propriety of any actress. Whoever has the beauty acts in glamour roles.
There are lots of romantic rumors about you?
I am a frank person. I will speak frankly what is in my mind. That itself becomes a great minus at times. When I move and speak frankly and friendly, people see this as romance. What can I do about this? They immediately say that I am in love and my lover has gifted me with a car. I also keep quite because this is also one kind of publicity for me.
Are you not interested in getting Awards once again?
I am not desirous for awards at any point of time. I act as per the directions of the director. Sometimes it becomes very good and fetches me an award. The same has also become a minus in my career. In Tamil Nadu my Paruthiveeran image cannot be changed till now.
