Silambarasan is going for an emergency operation!
He has developed foot corns, and his doctor has advised him to remove it surgically, immediately.
So Simbu will be going under the surgical knife and will be taking two weeks complete rest.
It means that his Vaanam will be delayed and will not release for the big Valentine weekend.
Simbu was to do last two songs in the film which has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The song was to be picturised in a Chennai studio, will now be put on the hold, for a month.
Says a peeved STR: "I was very keen on a February release for Vaanam, as last year around same time I had my biggest hit in my career VTV. Well I can do little about it as the foot corns are not only painful, but also irritating and though the surgery will take a day, doctors have advised two-weeks complete rest for me."
