Hansika Motwani pairing with Udhayanidhi Stalin in SMS Director M Rajesh's Oru Kal Oru Kannadi Movie. Trisha and Shruti Haasan were the initial choices for the role but they could not be signed up as both of them have their hands full with various projects lined up.
Finally, Udhayanidhi Stalin who will be Leading Actor in Oru Kal Oru Kannadi, decided on Hansika Motwani.
Director Rajesh on confirming this news said, “As the story demands a North Indian-looking girl, we decided to rope in Hansika. I can’t reveal anything further but I can assure you I will not move away from my core strength, which is making feel-good films.”
