Sargunam, with one hit behind him already, seems to be an ardent Bhagyaraj fan. He couldn’t get the veteran to act in his debut Kalavani in Vimal’s father’s character in the role that eventually went to Ilavarasu. But no regrets, he is getting his wish fulfilled in his next film. Titled Vaagai Sooda Vaa, this movie will have Bhagyaraj in a full-length meaty role – playing Vimal’s father.
Vaagai Sooda Vaa will be produced by Sargunam himself with Vimal playing the role, repeating their Kalavani association a second time.
