Exnora International, an NGO that concentrates on environmental issues, also makes it a point to honor film personalities for their yeoman contribution.
Keeping with this decision, Exnora has this time honored producer Punnagai Poo Geetha for producing Narthagi, a film that depicts the lives of the transgender, its director Vijaya Padma for dealing with such a sensitive subject, its musician GV Prakash Kumar for scoring the music exclusively with Indian instruments and lyricist Na Muthu Kumar for writing moving songs on the transgenders.
Speaking at this event, Exnora’s founder MB Nirmal said that the NGO will be supportive of all those who strive for the upliftment of the society.
