Narain's long wait is finally over his Thambikottai is hitting the screens.

Three years after the release of his Mysskin directed Anjaathey a hit film, the actor will have his first commercial release tomorrow (February 10)!

Narain, after Anjaathey would have become a big star if he had played his cards well. At that time the actor did not want to do mass masala movies, which are the gateway to superstardom in Tamil cinema.

He did not sign up lucrative offers that came his way, and was talking more about aesthetic cinema.

But somewhere he fell between two stools as the only film he signed after Anjaathey , Pookada Ravi is yet to see the light of the day!

After waiting two years for its release, Narain signed Thambi Kottai directed by Ammu Ramesh, a pucca mass masala.

Now his career depends on how he plays his cards from here. Thambi Kottai has found good distributors and the best of screens.

If his luck holds and the film turns out to be a likeable entertainer, Narain wins hands down.
