Sarathkumar's solo hero film The Metro might have bombed at the Kerala box- office, but the star is still getting a lot of offers in Malayalam.
He is essaying the central character in Achante Aanmakkal directed by Chandrashekhar. Padmapriya is playing the female lead.
Director Chandrasekhar is doing a movie after a decade. He had made many family movies in 90's including Oru Kochu Bhoomikulukkam.
In Achante Aanmakkal, Sarath Kumar will play a Coimbatore based Tamil guy who also speaks Malayalam.
It was launched last week at a grand function held at BTH Sarovaram, in Ernakulam.
Top directors like Joshy and Lal Jose, came to wish Chandrasekhar and the unit all the best.
The film will start rolling in Coimbatore from next week. It has screenplay by Nawas, Camera by Jibu Jacob and music by Jassy Gift.
The star cast includes Jagadish, Suraj, Vijayaraghavan and Radha Varma.
