Amid rumours that superstar Rajni is yet to decide about starring in the sequel to his super-successful ‘Enthiran: The Robot’, news has emanated from the Sun Pictures management that they are keen to make the sequel for which Rajni had reportedly given his ‘full consent’.
The climax of ‘Enthiran’ was so conceived in such a manner which has given rise to speculations that a sequel could easily be made, as the ‘Robot’ Rajni was shown to be uttering a few words after gaining ‘life’ post its self-dismantling. Rajni, who has never done a sequel film in his career, has agreed to the sequel of this film, Saxena has said.
Saxena said that preliminary talks had been held with Rajnikanth and Shankar, both of whom would be combining for the third time to make the film. He also revealed that the budget of the sequel film would easily be crossing the budget of its first part. A formal announcement to this effect would soon be made, he added.
