Mani Ratnam gears up for romantic flick

There is a good news in store for all those Mani Ratnam fans. The director, who dropped his much-hyped Ponniyin Selvan, has reportedly started the pre-production work for his another project, which is said to be a romantic film.


According to reports, Mani Ratnam has penned a love story and he is giving final touches to the script. He is planning to introduce several new faces with this film. Soon the director will organize an audition for the lead casts hunt, say an unconfirmed report.

However, sources close to the director has claimed that Mani Ratnam is ready with three scripts. It also adds that the filmmaker is also planning for the sequel of his superhit movie Alaipayuthey, which starred Madhavan and Shalini in the leads.
