Rajni is donning triple role in the film titled Raana. The film was launched on 29th of last month. Some scenes featuring Rajni and Deepika Padukone was shot on that day.
On that day Rajni fell ill and was admitted in the hospital for treatment. So there were lots of speculations whether the shooting of this will continue or not. This high budgeted film was to be produced at a cost of Rs 100 Crores. There was news that this film has been shelved.
When asked director K S Ravikumar about this, he said, "Raana is not being dropped. The shooting of the film is also not postponed. Don’t believe the rumors that the film is being dropped. The actual shooting is to commence during the month of July. Works connected with this are going on. I had been to Thailand for scouting the locations. I will be leaving to London shortly. There is no truth in the news that this film is being dropped. I request not to believe these rumors. The shooting will commence on the scheduled date."
