Recently, there were reports that the makers of the film have approached Harris Jayaraj to compose the music. Later, the musician himself clarified the rumours pertaining to his involvement in Vikram’s movie.
Harris Jayaraj also took to Twitter to confirm the news, "I haven't signed any film named Karikalan or such. Please don't believe the web sources claiming that I am the composer of the film," he wrote.
