This actress made people re-think about her glam-doll image when AL Vijay's 'Deiva Thirumagal' hit theatres. Post 'Deiva Thirumagal' many challenging roles are finding their way into Anushka's desk that too from some of the finest production houses in the South.
There are now reports that Anushka might foray in to Kannada films. Sources in Sandalwood reveal that the actress might be roped into play the female lead opposite Darshan in a film titled 'Bulbul.' Though nothing seems to be confirmed yet, sources close to the 'Bulbul' team reveal that they are in talks with the actress.
The shooting for this film will begin once the lead actor Darshan completes his current project, and since the female lead has a powerful role to perform the production team of this film is keen on roping in Anushka for the role.
Meanwhile, some sources close to the actress when quizzed about Anushka Shetty spreading her wings to Kannada, have feigned ignorance, while some also reveal that the actress is demanding a bounty pay package for playing the female lead in the film. But if the producers are ready to pay the demanded amount then 'Bulbul' will become the first Kannada film to catapult Anushka into Sandalwood!
Anushka has also revealed that she will continue to do films in Tamil as well, thanks to all her Kollywood films which have garnered a good name and fan base for the actress in Tamil Nadu.
