Karthi said that he is going to act in direct Telugu films.
The film Naan Mahan Alla which had Karthi and Kajal Agarwal in the lead roles was dubbed in Telugu with the title Naa Peru Shiva and was released last Friday at Andhra Pradesh.
Karthi while speaking on this occasion said, "All my Tamil films dubbed in Telugu have become great hits.
I should thank all the Telugu audience for this. Similarly, this film has a good opening. Many are asking that when I am going to act in a direct Telugu film. I will be acting in a Telugu film directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar. He is readying a story for me. Once the script is ready, I will make the announcement."
