Vidya Balan signed to play the heroine opposite Rajni in Rana

Enthiran created history across the nation, and our Superstar has already signed his next project Rana, to be directed by K.S. Ravikumar. Rana, a trilingual to be made in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu, has Rajni playing a triple role (youth, middle age and old man). And guess what? Bollywood's current sensation Deepika Padukone will be paired opposite the young Rajni, while yesteryear beauty Rekha would be seen opposite the older character played by Rajni.

Rekha to play Rajni's sister in Rana

After yesteryear Bollywood icon Madhuri Dixit turned down a role in Rana, the golden opportunity has landed with Rekha. Madhuri, who was preferred for the role of Rajinikanth's sister, turned down the role as she felt it was unsuited for her. Now director K.S. Ravikumar has approached Rekha to take up the role.

kollywood Fans don’t want Rajni-Trisha combo?!

Superstar Rajnikanth’s animation film ‘Sultan: The Warrior’, started more than an year back by his younger daughter Soundarya, still remains incomplete. Soundarya got married last September and the responsibility of completing the unfinished project was handed over to K.S. Ravikumar, who has had a successful association with Rajni in films like ‘Muthu’ and ‘Padaiyappa’.
