Srikanth says I am not copying Madhavan I am acting in my style
Srikanth is acting in the Tamil film Nanban. This is the remake of the Hindi film Three Idiots. Srikanth is donning the role in which Madhavan did the original version. Srikanth while speaking about this said," I always wanted to act in Shankar films. Every actor will have the desire to act in his films.

Shankar's Nanban first schedule in Ooty
Ending all speculation and confusion about the Tamil title of 3 Idiots, its producers Gemini Film Circuit have recently announced that the movie will be titled Nanban. The announcement from the film giant also confirmed Vijay, Srikanth and Jiiva as the three leads in the movie. Meanwhile director Shankar has already started Nanban's first schedule in Ooty recently.

Surya will play the role of Silencer in Shankar's Nanban
Director-turned-actor SJ Surya will portray the role of Silencer in Shankar's Nanban, a remake of Bollywod blockbuster 3 Idiots. He has replaced Omi Vaidya, who walked out of the project citing date issues.

Putting all assumptions, premonitions and the ifs and buts over the Tamil remake of ‘3 Idiots’ the producers of the film Gemini Film Circuit has released a statement confirming their mega venture is titled ‘Nanban’, it will be directed by Shankar and star Vijay, Jeeva and Srikanth in Aamir Khan, Madhavan and Sharman Joshi roles respectively.
