'Seedan' has Dhanush in a 'crucial' role
It's raining Dhanush in theatres. We had 'Uthamaputhiran' for Deepavali and 'Aadukalam' for Pongal. With 'Mappillai' getting ready for an April release, 'Seedan', which has Dhanush in a 'crucial' role, is gearing up to hit the screens.

Six films Released on the Harvest Day
On the occasion of Pongal, 6 films are being released on 15th January. The high budgeted films Kaavalan, Aadukalam, Siruthai and Ilaignyan are being released and small budgeted films Solli Tharava and Karutha Kannan Rekla Race are also being released.

Pongal 2010 is just 9 days away (January 14), and as of now four films have confirmed their release.
They are Dhanush's Aadukalam (U), Ilangian (U), Kaavalan & Siruthai (yet to be censored).

Pongal 2011 is getting overcrowded, as four big films are trying to get theatre dates Vijay's Kaavalan, Dhanush's Aadukalam, Karthi's Siruthai and PA Vijay's Ilanjian which is scripted by Chief Minister Karunanidhi.
