Karthi while speaking to the media said," I am really very happy that I am donning dual roles in my fifth film itself. I have not expected that this will happen so fast. My brother donned the police officer roles in Kaaka Kaaka and Singam in a different style.

Vijay is forced to pay for Sura’s loss
Ilayathalapathy Vijay is in trouble again. His movie Kaavalan was thought to have got more theatres but a firm decision was taken by the theatre owners that Vijay has to pay for the loss occurred by the movie Sura. If he doesn’t pay, then there will be no question of releasing Kaavalan.

'Kaavalan' Almost Got 400 Theaters Now
Till last week, the hopes were literally bleak as Sakthi Chidambaram couldn't get enough screens for releasing the film on Pongal. The never-ending disputes between actor Vijay and theatre owners-distributors were the reason behind such confusions.
Karthi wanted a dumbo wife
Karthi was addressing the media persons for promoting his forthcoming flick Siruthai when a reporter asked him if he preferred an intelligent or a dim-witted wife. The star immediately replied that he wanted a dumbo wife and added that most men would also prefer the same.

Just 11 days more for Pongal 2011, and theatres in Tamil Nadu have already been booked. It is undoubtedly the biggest festival season for Tamil cinema.
Up to the late 90's, producers used to release six to eight films during this festival season including superstar films.
