Saloni in Telugu remake Bodyguard
Model-actress Saloni Aswani, who appeared in a number of Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada films, will be the second heroine in Victory Venkatesh's ongoing Telugu remake of Malayalam blockbuster Bodyguard, a report said. Trisha is the heroine.

Asin - Venkatesh In Teja's 'Savitri'
Victory Venkatesh has given his green signal to director Teja’s Savitri long back, but the film did not begin yet as the makers could not find a suitable lead lady for the title role. However, latest reports suggest that South Indian beauty Asin is likely to star opposite Venkatesh in Savitri. If this happens, it would be the second time Asin teams up with Venky. They have earlier paired up in Gharshana.
It is also said that Nayantara was approached for the role, but she declined the offer due to personal reasons. Later, Trisha was also considered, but not approached by the makers. Venkatesh is expected to play a paraplegic in Savitri, which is similar to Hrithik Roshan’s character in Guzaarish. Savitri is produced by D. Suresh Babu under the banner of Suresh Productions.

Superstar Rajnikanth And Jyothika Cameo Shots In 'Nagavalli' Chandramukhi 2
Following the grand success of Chandramukhi sequel in Kannada titled 'Aaptha Rakshaka', filmmaker P. Vasu has remade the film in Telugu as 'Nagavalli – The Chandramukhi' starring Venkatesh in dual roles while Anushka, Kamalini Mukherji, Richa Gangopadhyay, Suja and Poonam Kaur play female lead roles.

Something that is running on discussions is that Sivaji Productions is likely to produce P. Vasu’s Tamil version of ‘Chandramukhi-2’. P. Vasu has been persistently rocking on top with the continuous remakes of ‘Chandramukhi’ and its sequel.
