Earlier we reported that ‘Action King’ Arjun will play a prominent role in Ajith’s Mankatha. The latest buzz is that the actor has joined the Mankatha team in Chennai to shoot some important scenes.
Mankatha has a huge star cast comprising Ajith, Trisha, Lakshmi Rai, Vedhika, Vaibhav, Ashwin, Mahat, Premgi Amaran, Vega and Ganesh Venkatram. The unit has recently completed the opening song ‘Vilayadu Mankatha’ in Bangkok.
The film, produced and distributed by Dhayanidhi Alagiri’s Cloud Nine Movies, is expected to release on May 1 (Ajith’s birthday), 2011.
