Arulnidhi, grandson of Chief Minister M Karunanidhi who had a hero in Pandiraj directed Vamsam, has started shooting of his new film titled 'Udhayan'.
Udhayan is produced by Prabhakaran and directed by debutant Chaplin. Udhayan is a city based flick.
Arulnidhi wants to do films in different genres. Chaplin's city based subject attracted him to the script. Kannada Actress Praneetha is the heroine. She acted recently telugu movie named "Bava" with Siddharth Narayan.
Manikanth Kadri has done music for a lot of Kannada and Telugu films. Vijay Milton is the cinematographer.
