After completing his ongoing Doubles, megastar Mammootty will join the sets of famous script writer-turned-director Babu Janardhan's thriller Bombay 1993 March 12, based on the Mumbai riots.
Mammootty would essay the role of Sanathan Bhatt in this multilingual produced by Red Cross Films in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. The film, to be shot in Mumbai, Rajasthan and Coimbatore from February, portrays the ill effects and sufferings faced by the nation after the Mumbai bomb blast in 1993.
