Actor-director-producer S.A. Chandrasekaran is not at all amused by seeing from close quarters the various hurdles that were placed in the way of release of his son’s latest film ‘Kaavalan’. The veteran film-maker is quite sure of where from the troubles originated and who was ‘responsible’ for it. He now wants to repay them in the ‘same coin’.

Aware that he doesn’t possess the money or brawn power like those ‘persons’, SAC is targeting them through his next directorial venture ‘Sattapadi Kutram’ which stars Sathyaraj in the lead role, with Tamil activist Seeman playing an equally important role.

Kollywood’s latest hot talk is about a sequence that was recently canned by SAC for his forthcoming film. As per the sequence which was shot, it depicted a huge building (office of a leading regional newspaper) set on fire resulting in the death of 3 of its sincere employees.

It doesn’t any great IQ to guess whom SAS is referring to and who was the ‘guilty party’ on the occasion. He sure deserves kudos to have the courage to take on the powers-that-be! Actor Vijay is all set to play cameo in the film, it is learnt. Vijay has appeared at least in one sequence in all of SAC’s earlier films. Keeping up with the tradition, Vijay, who was earlier reluctant to star in the film, is said to have given his consent to appear in the brief cameo.

The father-son combo would soon start shooting for their upcoming film.
