Samantha had done the female lead role in the Tamil film Moscowin Kaveri. She has also paired with Murali’s son Adharva in the film Bana Kathadi. She has also acted with Simbhu in the film Vinnai Thandi Varuvaya. Now she is a popular actress in Telugu film industry. Samantha was invited to open a shop at Tirupathi. There was a heavy crowd to see her.
Samantha was mobbed by the crowd once she alighted from her car. They started pinching her hips and started pulling her hands. Samantha was not able to escape from the clutches of the crowd. Since there were few police men, they were not able to save her.
Samantha who could not put up with the atrocities of the crowd slapped three of her fans continuously. When the organizers found out that the situation was getting out of control managed to retrieve Samantha from the mobbing annoying crowd.
Samantha while speaking about this said,” I am really hurt by the behavior of my fans. Actors are also human beings. They also have emotions and feelings. They should understand this first. I had planned to go to Thirumalai Temple after opening the shop but now I am returning without going there with a heavy heart.”
