AR Rahman lost to Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, the music directors of The Social Network. The Oscar winner was a hot favorite to win the Golden Globe this year for his score ‘If I Rise’ in the Danny Boyle-directed 127 Hours.
The Social Network, apart from winning the Golden Globe for the best score, also went on to win three other awards – Best Director (David Fincher), Best Film (Drama category), and Best Screenplay (Aaron Sorkin).
Is this an indication that The Social Network will be the Oscar’s favorite as well?
