The fans of Rajinikanth, who have been voicing for the superstar's waxwork at Madame Tussauds, are disappointed that their dream for Rajini's statue has not come true. Since 2007, they have been wishing for his wax sculpture.

Fans of Rajini had started online campaign for his wax statue in 2007 but their efforts went in vain as Salman Khan won the race through people's vote. However, they were hopeful that the authorities in Madama Tussauds would consider him in the coming years. But their dreams were shattered again as they chose Hrithik Roshan for this year. Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Shahrukh Khan are the others, whose sculptor has been erected at the world famous waxworks museum.

The sexagenarian actor has acted in all the South Indian languages and Hindi. He has also hogged the global limelight from his recent movie Endhiran – The Robot, the biggest ever sci-fi movie made in Indian film history. It is noted that Rajini is the second most highest paid actor after Jackie Chan. According to Asia Week magazine, Rajinikanth is the most powerful and influential person in South Asia, who has fans all across the globe. Considering all these facts, fans are demanding for the superstar's waxwork at Madame Tussauds.

Let's hope that Rajinikanth's wax work would be erected soon.
