Director Venkat Prabhu's 2010 Tamil romantic comedy Goa, starring Jai, Vaibhav, Premji Amaran, Sneha, Piaa and debutante Australian model Melanie Marie, is being dubbed in Telugu under the banner of Sai Balaji Films.

Sources suggest that the dubbing and the recording of songs for the Telugu version is complete and the DTS mixing is currently on. The Telugu version will be released in May.

Goa follows the journey of three young men, who flee from their remote, conservative village to escape their overly strict families and travel to the international tourist destination Goa, after encountering a friend who has fallen in love with a Caucasian girl there. The film explores their time in Goa, the people they meet, ranging from gay hoteliers to suave casino owners, and dwells on the relationships they encounter in the region.

Actors Simbu, Nayantara and Prasanna make guest appearances in Goa, the first production of Soundarya Rajinikanth's Ocher Picture Productions. It has eight songs by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Cinematography is by Sakthi Saravanan.
