It's first broke the story of Arya doing a cameo in Santosh Sivan's multi-lingual Urumi with a quote from the actor.
Later, the news was denied by a section of the media. But on Saturday (Feb 5) the star was shooting for the film on the sandy beaches near Udupi in Dakshin Karnataka.
Arya made it clear: "I have never said I'm not part of Urumi. I always wanted to do a Santosh Sivan film as it will give me an international exposure as the director normally showcases his films at all international film festivals. Please note the array of stars like Prithviraj, Prabhu Deva, Vidya Balan, Genelia, Tabu and others who are part of Urumi. "
Arya has completed the entire shoot of Bala's Avan Ivan in Theni and then travelled for over 12 hours by road and air to reach Udupi for the shoot.
He will complete his part and has to come back to Chennai on February 10 for Avan Ivan dubbing.
Says Arya: "After completing the dubbing of Bala sir's film I will be going abroad for a short vacation. From March 2, I will start shooting for Lingusamy's Vettai with Maddy, Amala and Sameera ."
