Nagarjuna’s Telugu ‘Ragada’ become ‘Vambhu’ in Tamil

Nagarjuna is the one and only perfect actor, who is open to any novel concepts and accepts them wholeheartedly. He never cares about the image and it has been the reason behind his grand success over the years.


The actor’s recent release ‘Payanam’ bilingual movie has witnessed a good opening today. Meanwhile, the actor’s previous Telugu movie ‘Ragada’ that was released in December will soon release in Tamil as ‘Vambhu’. The Telugu movie has crossed 50 days and is still running successfully with house-packed shows.

The film is based on an ordinary man Sathya (performed by Nagarjuna), who comes all the way from Madurai to Chennai and starts bumping off the city’s deadliest gang leaders one by one for an unknown reason. Meanwhile much fascinated with his heroism, a hot girl (Anushka) falls in love with him. At the same time, he comes across a beautiful girl (Priyamani) and saves her from a life-threatening situation when her brother is in trouble.

Now he becomes the cynosure of eyes for both the girls. Later Sathya comes to know that a game of Rs.180Crores is played on him and apart from this, he has a suspenseful mystery revealed for his journey to Chennai and reason for finishing off the baddies.

The film is produced by Venkat Rao & Prasath Rao and the banner of ‘Bathrakaali Films’. The film has dialogue written by Rajaraja of ‘Ilavattam’ fame.
