Oviya natively called as Helen from God’s own country made her debut in Tamil film industry through the movie ‘Kalavani’. Directed by Sargunam and produced by Sherali Films, she starred opposite Vimal in female lead role. Indeed, she won critical accliams for her performance stole the hearts of young lads in town. Now the actress has been signed for the same role in Kannada and Telugu remake of ‘Kalavani’. Both the versions are to be directed by Kannada filmmaker Pradeep Raj.
It is worth mentioning that there were some reports about Gautham Vasudev Menon of Photon Kathaas Factory had acquired the Hindi remake rights of the movie.
Let us see whether the girl from Kerala will make it into Bollywood as well.
