Tamil cinema Ulaganayagan Kamal Hassan is said to be behind the yester year’s actress Sridevi these days. The actor is said to be persuading Sridevi to act in one of his forthcoming films, which is likely to be ‘Vishwaroopam’.
If reports are to be believed, Kamal Hassan and Sonakshi Sinha are playing the lead in the movie ‘Vishwaroopam’ which is being directed by Selva Raghavan. There is a character role on demand, which needs a well known beauty, who has retired from films. For this reason, Tabu was considered for the project.
But Kamal Hassan met Sridevi on a promotional event and from that day, he wants her in his film. It is gossiped that the so called womanizer was in awe, when he saw Sridevi, elegantly beautiful in the sari and this made him intoxified onto her.
So, when selva narrated a second female lead character to Kamal, Sridevi was the first choice for the character. But selva is not ready to cast Sridevi as he doesn’t want to waste Sridevi beauty, in a petite role. But Kamal is keen to act with her in this year at any cost and may opt for Malayalam movie ‘Traffic Signal’ remake in Tamil and may feature Sridevi in second lead role, according to the script.
Sridevi and Kamal Hassan were a hit pair of 70’s and 80’s and again seeing them on screen will be a delight to their fans.
