Actress Priyamani debuted through the film Kangalal Kaidhu Sei directed by Bharathiraja. She became very popular after acting in the role called Muthalagu in the film Paruthiveeran.
After this she had acted in many films. She finally paired with Bharath in the film Aarumugam and after this she went missing. Now she is camping in Andhra and is acting in Telugu film. She is currently acting in a film titled Kshetram which has Jagapathi Babu and Shyam in the cast. When asked her that why she could not be seen in Tamil films, she said," I am not interested in singing duets, dancing and crying. There should be a good story. There should be a good feel then only the audience will enjoy the film.
In the recent time there were good releases of realistic films. It also reached the people in a good manner. Why should I say no, if I get these kinds of films? I want to act in the Tamil Nadu best directors films. Especially I want to act in the films directed by Dharani, Murugadoss and K S Ravikumar."
