Its official! Amala Paul is Dhanush’s heroine in his new untitled film directed by his wife Aishwarya. The film has started rolling in Chennai from July 28, Dhanush's birthday.
A small pooja was organised by Dhanush's father and producer of the film Kastoori Raja at the location near Santhome church.
The other guests who came to wish the star couple were Selvaraghavan and wife Geetanjali, Vijay Yesudas and wife Darshana .
A visibly excited Amala spoke to sify.com: "I am on cloud nine, as being a part of such a huge project is indeed a blessing considering the fact that I am someone new to the industry. The script is something to die for and my role is so exciting that I can't wait for the actual shoot to happen. I will be joining the unit from next month".
The film in all probabilities looks like a biggie in the making with none other than Aishwarya, daughter of superstar Rajinikanth making her debut as an independent director with her husband, the National award winning actor Dhanush in the lead.
Remember that Aishwarya was working as an assistant director since Baba to the recent Aayirathil Oruvan and has horned her skills as a film maker.
She has written the screenplay and dialogues herself and the film will be a quickie which will be com0pleted this year and be ready for a Pongal 2012 release.
