Venghai bagged a U/A certificate
Dhanush's action entertainer Venghai has been cleared by the Censors with a U/A certificate today. Kollywood's most prominent production house Sun Pictures has bagged the release rights of the film. Like all Hari's flicks, Dhanush's Venghai will be a typical commercial entertainer! After Padikkathavan, Dhanush is teaming up with Tamannaah in Venghai.

Simbu and Dhanush to have the same heroine in forthcoming films
Believe it or not. Kollywood’s bitter competitors STR and Dhanush will have the same heroine in their forthcoming films. It is learnt that director Selvaraghavan has roped in Richa Gangopadhyay, a Bengali beauty and an upcoming Tollywood star, as the heroine for his film. The news comes after a couple of days when director Dharani, who wields the megaphone for the remake of Debangg featuring Simbu in the lead, announced that Richa would be the female lead of the remake.

This film is being released on 25th of this month. About Ananya’s issue, when I signed her for the film, she was bulky. So I asked her to reduce her weight. She said that it is not possible to reduce her weight within 10 days.

Maapillai to compete with Ko and Engeyum Kadhal
