Actor Nandha was last spotted in a thriller film titled ‘Ananthapurathu Veedu’ opposite Chhaya Singh some time back. The talented actor that he is, he doesn’t appear to be getting enough meaty roles to sink his teeth into them and prove his mettle. Nandha also played a negative role and won appreciation in Arivazhagan’s ‘Eeram’ more than a couple of years back.

He has now been signed up to play the lead role in ‘Thiruppangal’, a movie produced by Sri Selvanayagi Amman Movies, which also produced the Shantanu-starrer ‘Kandein’ which released a couple of months ago. Nandha has the stunning Andrea Jermaiah, the actress who can sing sweetly too, as his heroine in the film. Garvin is the other heroine in the film. Gautham, Chams and Baby Dharani form the rest of the cast.

High-profile cinematographer Madhu Ambat would be the cameraman in ‘Thiruppangal’ which would have music by Vidyasagar and lyrics by Naa Muthukumar. Saratha Ramanathan, who made ‘Sringaram’ some time back, returns as the director of the film. The film is billed as a psycho-thriller with exciting sequences and chilling background score.

True to the title, the script would have many thiruppangal (twists) in it, says Nanda and adds further: “Each scene will keep the viewers guessing as to what’s in store in the next sequence. I have taken off my moustache for the role I play in the film. It is an important film in my career as I have played a cop for the first time in my career.”
